A Ukhamba basket is a rigid bulb shaped vessel rendered water-tight by the tightness of the Ilala Palm weave. All the colours used are natural, they are obtained from boiling roots, bark, leaves and berries. This purchase includes the signed name of the Zulu lady who created the basket.
