Zulu Baskets
Zulu Shields & Spears

The Zulu tribe is renowned for their artistry and craftsmanship. The art of Zulu basketry is one of the traditional art forms that is passed on from mother to child.

Zulu women earn a day to day living working from their homes as they incorporate hand made basketry into their daily routine whilst they look after their children, work the fields and collect water. It can take up to six weeks of dedicated labour to create one expertly crafted collectable basket.
