The Baobab trees are hand made from dry banana leaves which are neatly and tightly wrapped around a sturdy wire framework. This product is often used as an African Christmas tree and is also ideal for hanging necklaces on. The real Baobab tree stores water in the tree trunk, the tree is indigenous to Africa, they are often referred to as 'The Tree of Life' as the African people believed the trees have healing powers.
