Definitions
Buyer - a person over the age of 18 who buys or agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller.
Conditions - the terms and conditions of sale as set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by the Seller.
Goods - the articles which the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller.
Price - the price for the Goods, including VAT, excluding carriage, handling, packaging and insurance costs.
Seller - means PlacesAFar of P O Box 7516, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 1XF, United Kingdom.
**International Buyers please note** - Unfortunately we cannot accept any orders from International buyers for Zulu Shields.
Conditions
The Goods are individually hand made and will have slight unique variances in shape, size, colour and texture. All measurements are approximate. The Seller will ensure the Buyer receives the finest quality Goods.
These Conditions represent the whole of the agreement between the Seller and the Buyer. They supersede any other conditions previously issued.
These Conditions may change at any time without notice. Changes will be effective as soon as posted on this website. It is the Buyer's responsibility to check whether any changes have been made to these Conditions. Each occasion the Buyer uses this website shall signify their acceptance of the latest Conditions.
Price
The Price shall be the individual price of Goods on the website. Prices include Value Added Tax.
Buyers from VAT zero rated countries please note the final price cannot be discounted. Prices are in Pounds Sterling and payment is in Pounds Sterling only.
Order Acceptance
The acceptance of the contract between the Buyer and Seller will take place once the Seller notifies the Buyer via email of the estimated date of despatch. The completion of the contract between the Buyer and the Seller will take place once the Seller has dispatched the Goods. The Seller reserves the right to decline an order and notify the Buyer via email. Non acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The Goods ordered are not in stock
- The Seller's inability to obtain authorisation of the Buyer's payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
Order Cancellation
Buyer order cancellations must be received by the Seller within seven days of the order date. An order cancellation will levy an administration charge which will be deducted from the refund due to the Buyer.
Payment
Payment in GBP Pounds Sterling only.
The Seller accepts the following credit and debit card payments from all countries;
- Visa, MasterCard
- American Express, Diners
- JCB
- Laser
- Electron
- Switch, Solo, Maestro
Customs
The Buyer may suffer import duties or taxes which are levied once the Goods reach the country of destination, all additional customs clearance charges must be borne by the Buyer. The Seller has no control over these costs and cannot foresee what they may be.
Custom policies vary widely the Buyer needs to contact their local Customs and Excise office for more information. When buying from the Seller the Buyer is considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which they are receiving the Goods. Each package will be accompanied by a Customs Declaration CN22.
Returns
The Buyer must advise the Seller in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the Goods if they are displeased or if the Goods are broken or damaged. The Seller will either exchange the Goods or issue a refund to the Buyer. The Seller will give written instructions for Goods which are to be returned. Postage, packaging and handling costs are not refundable. The Buyer is required to keep the damaged or broken Goods together with the packaging for three months for inspection by the courier company. The Seller will endeavour to claim for lost or damaged Goods but we cannot guarantee the outcome.
